ACED POKER
Aced Poker Summary
Established in 2008, Aced Poker is the newest room on the Merge Network. The software works well, the graphics are very nice, and being part of this network gives them built-in traffic. The bonus at Aced is huge, 100% up to $1,000! Aced essentially replaced Chan Poker, and now they accept U.S. players (Chan Poker didn’t). Aced has plenty of easy deposit options for all players, and a great Rewards Program to keep players happy. Most of the traffic is in low-middle stakes games, but we expect this room to grow much faster than most other rooms. The affiliate manager at Aced is well known within the poker community, which means that this cardroom will be marketed widely online. Instead of fighting an uphill battle, Aced should be able to sign up new players at a breakneck pace. Aced offers all of the standard tournament formats, plus a $20,000 guaranteed tournament on Sundays.
Aced Poker Bonus
The Aced Poker bonus is simply huge. As a new room looking to expand their player base, these guys are getting seriously aggressive. That’s great for us, we’ll take it! Players have 60 days to clear the bonus. This bonus is paid in $5 increments, which is equal to 1,250? player points.
There is also a $25 refer-a-friend bonus available. Send your friends to Aced and make some extra cash! Plus, for every friend you refer to Aced Poker, you and your friend will each get to play in a $2,500 freeroll tournament.
Aced Poker Cash Games
Aced Poker has some good action in Hold’em, but non-Hold’em games are slow at the moment. While we expect this room to grow rapidly, other games should gain traffic in short time.
NL Hold’em games from $.02/.04 to $50/100
FL Hold’em games from $.10/.25 to $50/100
PL Hold’em games from $.05/.10 to $25/50
PL, and NL Omaha games from $.10/.25 to $25/50
FL Omaha games from $.10/.25 to $30/60
PL Omaha Hi/Lo games from $.05/.10 to $10/25
FL Omaha Hi/Lo games from $.10/.20 to $25/50
Other games don’t have enough traffic yet to talk about. We’ll update other games as they build traffic.
Aced Poker Tournaments
Aced Poker has all of the typical tournaments players expect. Sit & go tournaments start as low as $.60 and go up to $60 for 10 player tables. 6 player tables range from $2.20 to $109. Heads up tournaments start at $5.25 and go up to $1,040. There are also satellite sit & go tournaments for a variety of events. Most sit & go tournaments are available in short-handed, and turbo variations as well.
Aced runs large field tournaments of all shapes and sizes, starting at just $.06 - yeah, 6 cents! Small buy-in tournaments are the most popular and there are a lot of small guaranteed tournaments that run all day long. Most of these tournaments have guaranteed prize pools in the range of $50-$3,500, with buy-in’s ranging from as little as $1.10, up to $109.
Bounty tournaments are available with buy-in’s from $2.20 up to $22, with bounties ranging from 10-100% of the buy-in amount.
If you like freerolls, Aced Poker runs several $50 freerolls daily that anyone can play in. This is a great way for new players to gain tournament experience without risking their own money.
Every Sunday at 5pm ET, Aced Poker holds their $20,000 guaranteed tournament. It has a direct buy-in of $55+5, and satellites for this tournament can be played for as little as $5.50.
Aced Poker Deposit Options
U.S. Players: Visa/Mastercard, eWalletXpress, Pic-Club, Wire Transfer, Fonelinx
Non-U.S. Players: All of the above, plus Neteller, UseMyWallet, MoneyBookers, Click2Pay, and EcoCard
Aced Poker Promotions
As a new room, there aren’t a lot of big promotions going on yet. With that said, Aced is doing a good job of offering as much as they can, but on a smaller scale.
Aced Poker is currently running a promotion for the Aussie Millions. Satellites are running now for $60, or players can get in by building satellite tournament credits. Players can start at the $2 level, and work their way up as high as they like. That money can later be spent on buy-in’s for bigger tournaments such as the Aussie Millions satellite.
There are also high-hand jackpots available. Anyone who makes quad aces while playing Texas Hold’em, will get a bonus of 40 X’s the big blind. So, if you’re playing a $1/2 NL game, you’ll get $80 free. If you’re playing a $5/10 NL game, you’ll get $400 in bonus!
The other high hand jackpot is for players who are lucky enough to make a royal flush. Get 100 X’s the big blind on this promotion!
Aced Poker Graphics And Software
The table graphics at Aced Poker are great - very clean and contemporary. The buttons are all very clear, options and important info is all where it should be. The lobby is simple to use as well. Although the colors are a bit drab, who really cares?
